DIA: BRIDGEHAMPTON

Permanent Dan Flavin exhibit of nine works in fluorescent light. Exhibition is housed in a renovated turn-of-the-century Shingle-style firehouse, then church, and now permanent display of Flavin’s signature fluorescent-light works.

This is a cool place to stop on the drive out east.

HIKE TO WARHOL ESTATE

While you cannot enter the former Warhol Estate, you can see it on this hike along the bluffs and down to the beach. Warhol hosted an endless stream of artists and musicians at the camp, Mick and Bianca Jagger, Truman Capote, Lee Radziwill, JFK and Jackie Onassis and the Rolling Stones.
